Wow, where to begin? The blend of science fiction, crime, and moral ideals in Burgess's novel is wonderfully enthralling. The Humble Narrator, Alex, takes us on a journey from his comfortable life with his droogs (friends) Dim, Pete, and George, as they terrorize anyone who happens to appeal to them. The novel is filled with strange words from the common language among teen criminals-Nadsat. Though the book is easily followed without one, I strongly recommend a copy with a glossary inside. Follow fifteen year old Alex if you dare...just take heed of his britva!
