I really loved this book. I read it one summer a long time ago, and seriously couldn’t put it down. Maybe it’s because it takes place on a farm, and I live on a farm! I can relate to this coming of age story, even if I am a girl. Paul has such a great voice. Mr. Hite really knows how to tell a story from a boy’s perspective. My favorite parts were the dog Einstein, and the building friendship between Paul and Rebecca.
