Eve Stoke. A girl so mundane, so run-of-the-mill, she barely knows herself. However, with her first year of high school starting up, she is absolutely determined to change that. Out with the shy girl permanently tucked away in the back of the class, and in with the new and improved Eve. There's only one problem: she has absolutely no idea where to start. She navigates through the tough, twisting hallways of high school trying to figure out where she might fit in. After a few spectacular fails that almost turn her off trying altogether, she finally starts to make something resembling progress. Does it matter that her new friends don't call her by her real name? That they push her to do things she would never even dream of considering before she met them? That, deep down, they don't seem to like her much at all? But all that must be in her head. What she's going through is what everybody goes through. It's all a part of having friends. Right?
