A book that makes you think about falling in love, acheiving your dreams even through a diffecult time, and growing up when you don't have that much time left. This book is about a girl named Melinda who is a ballet dancer and who has a best friend since 1st grade named Jesse. Jesse moves away but they continue to keep in touch through letters and emails. But then tradegy stikes when Melinda gets luekemia. This book talks about how Jesse's and Melinda's realationship growa from friendship to love. How Melinda still keeps on dancing. And the challenges that a teenage girl who has cancer faces. Also how important family and friends are. This book is incrediable! I reccomend this book to anyone and you'll end of thinking after finishing this book. A Rose for Melinda changed my life. Hope you enjoy this book too.

This is another sad but great book. All her life Melinda has wanted to be a dancer. She finally gets the chance to go to a summer dance program but ends up in the hospital. I'm not going to finish the story cause I want you to read it!
