i loved this book, it was recommended to me by a friend and i have to say it was pretty amazing book. something a little bit different from the normal books i read but it was great. i related to Emerson it the fact that we are both tomboys. i think that being forced to go to that store was the best or worse thing that could happen to anyone given the results that happened.

I enjoyed many other books by Meg Cabot but this one grabbed my attention the minute i picked it up.This book was a breath of fresh air from a lot of the silly nonsense that is written (and somehow published) .The plot of this book is so unique from everything else , its about a girl and a super modle and a big BIG  tv.....haha. No, but really this book is really cool because its about having to see the world in a whole different way ( even if you dont want to ). This thrilling tale is a MUST READ  for 2011 :) xoxo Rose

This book is a cute easy read. It's a bit funny but not too out there. It's all about the DRAMA  DRAMA DRAMA but I love it. A teenage nobody's brain is transplanted into a paparazzi hungry model. This is her adjustment from her old to new life. IF you like Jinx by Meg Cabot you will love this.

Meg Cabot has always made me laugh and I just had to read another book of hers. Different as many of her others books; dorky princess, worst witches, ghost whispers, and many more. Sixteen-year-old tomboy, Emerson Watts never thought she will ever become a model until she has a terrible accident and has a controversial brain transplant surgery and is in the body of the famous model Nikki Howard. Forcing her life to change for ever.

"Em Watts Is Gone, Nikki Howard Is Here To Stay" - Airhead

Em Watts is a normal teenage girl trying to get through high school, get her crush to notice her, and deal with her little sister, Frida. When Frida wants to go to the new Stark Megastore opening to meet singer, Gabriel Luna, Em goes along to watch her. Supermodel Nikki Howard is there also. When a horrible accident occurs, Nikki's and Em's lives will never be the same...

This was another great book by Meg Cabot. The plot was unique and kept me eagerly turning the pages. Em was a great main character and her story will stick with me long after I finished the book. I've just started the sequel, Being Nikki, and like it just as much! I highly recommend Airhead to anyone.

Wow! How Meg Cabot came up with the amzingly, totally original idea of a tomboy who gets involved in a freak accident, undergoes an experimental brain transplant then wakes up in a supermodel's body and has to resume the model's troubled and hectic life is fabulously mind blowing! She displays the emotions of the tomboy who's new body is now the upitomy of girly-ness. I absolutely loved it!

I remember seeing this cover a LOT a while ago so I really wanted to read it but I never got a chance to..until Kristi from Story Siren [she's really cool :] lend me this book. And let me tell you, this book is really good. The plot's so freaking unique and original, something that I never would've thought of...due to my lack of imagination hahaha. I thought the characters were really well written especially Em, her little sister, and Nikki's best friend. It seemed like another look into celebrity life that though some celebrities are bitches, there are others who are sweet, incredibly sweet while others are right in the middle like Nikki's best friend. But reading how big a bitch Nikki was made me think that meeting a celebrity may not be all that. Seriously. They're probably [most likely but maybe not because like I said, some are sweet] a bitch. Anyway, I really wish that I'm in Em's shoe because having an awesome figure AND having an awesome life will be [and again] amazingly awesome. I can't wait until the sequel comes out and I can read more about Em and her new modeling life. :]

Em Watts lives in N.Y.C with her family. She isn't popular and has one best friend named Chris who she secretly has a crush on. Everything is normal until she has a accident at a local store. The accident is so bad that there is only one way to save Em and that is a brain transplant. Luckily, there is a body for them to switch Em's brain to. The body just happens to be Nikki Howard who is the spokesmodel for Stark superstore. Now Em is forced to pretend like she is actually Nikki and complete all of her contracts or her parents can get sued for thousands of dollars! This book is really amazing read, I loved it!

Airhead was an astounding book by Meg Cabot. I thoroughly enjoyed it and am looking forward to reading the next in the series.

Nikki is a normal girl, living with a normal family. She doesn't care so much about what she wears or really to much on how she looks. However, her sister is different. One day, she is at a store with her sister and best friend so that her sister can meet a singer that she really wants to see. While waiting in line, a famous girl comes into the store. Nikki's sister starts walking over to her, in aw. In the busy, and crazy, atmosphere of the store, a paintball hits a television and starts falling. To Nikki's surprise, the TV that is falling is directly above were her sister is standing. Nikki rushes over to her and saves her sisters life, to bad the TV falls on her.

Read this story and find out what happens to Nikki after the TV crash. This was a wonderful story and I hope you enjoy it!

OVERVIEW
Emerson Watts is anything but an airhead. Em, embracing her boyish name, is a total tomboy. She spends her time playing computer games, and hanging out with best friend Christopher, while making fun of the Walking Dead Whitney Robertson and her group of friends and followers at Tribeca Alternation (TAHS) who think they are at the top of the pyramid. Em would rather die than become a Walking Dead. But what happens when that choice is made for her? With a whole new body thats turning heads everywhere she goes, does Em finally have what it takes to get noticed by the one she loves?

REVIEW
Going into this book, I really didnt know what it was about. Sure I knew that the main character, Em, gets a whole new look, but I didnt know how, although I thought I knew why. Meg Cabot is an awesome author, and Airhead was no exception of hers. The plot is original and very well written. Meg keeps you in suspense long enough to want to know whats going on, but not too long to where you get tired with the book, although I did get impatient at some point. Overall, youre questions are answered throughout the book, except, like a great author, the ones you really want to know which is just enough to keep you on the edge of your seat awaiting the sequel. Being Nikki hits stores in May 2009.
