Ive never been under a population law, but author Margret Peterson Haddix made me think I was the whole time. As I was reading, Luke is an illegal third child he sees a face in the sports familys house which he already knew had two kids, so he made a plot to go over.

            First, the reason I liked it was how brave Jen and Luke are. The second reason is theirs sad and happy parts.Jen is brave because she risked her life for freedom. Luke is brave because he goes outside instead of doing what his mom & dad told him to do. It would be like me and my brother disobeying our parents orders.

To conclude, if you want to find out the ending, read the book yourself!
