Anne of Ingleside was not the greatest book in the Anne series. It was not exceptional like the other Anne books;it was just good. The story talked about Anne and her six children. Basically, every chapter was just a tale about one of the children or Anne. There really wasn't a plot. I agree with Bookworm9; it was not great, but it was all right, nonetheless. I just thought the book could have been a tiny bit better.
