I really love these books. Told from true accounts of teenagers they're real and heart-breaking. Annie drove me crazy in the beginning of this diary. I thought she was whiny, bratty and extremely idiotic. But as I neared the end of the book my heart warmed to her and I started to understand her. I believe they should force schools to read these journals as a life-lesson. Once you've read about something in a true-story account you tend to rethink things you do in your own life. I certainly received the message sent in this book.
