Best Friends Forever is a story of two girls and their friendship over the years. Addie was a very shy girl and did not have many friends. When Val moved in across the street they hit it off from the start. They were best friends! As the years go by Val gets into a more popular crowd but her friendship with Addie is still there until Val turns her back on her and Addie is left all alone. Not only did Addie lose her best friend for doing the right thing but now everyone in school sees her as a target to pick on and bully. Val and Addie go seperate ways until Val shows up on her doorstep with blood on her coat begging Addie for help.

The book shows what it is like going to high school when you are different and how hard it is to stay true to yourself and your friends. I really enjoyed this book and could see and really relate to how Addie felt. Having the police officer chase them around over a lost belt?? That was kinda a far fetch but it was still a great story! I would recommend to anyone!
