Some books just dont fit my expectations. Bloom was one of them.
The characters, to beguin with, are just too disorganized. Lauren, the main character, cheats on her well-liked, kind-hearted, caring, thoughful boyfriend with her dads ex-girlfriends son, Evan, when he unexpectedly becomes a student at her school. At first, there was a bit of tension, but once they started to hang out, they went further then friends, and Evan knew very well she had a boyfriend, and instead of ending things with her, he hung onto the hope of her ending her relationship with Dave, her current boyfriend.
"Confused" as ever, she tries to straighten out her feelings even though its completley obvious that she is fully in love with Evan and so she figures a way to tell it to Dave... the all-around perfect guy -_-
Its not typical, thats for sure, but its just... so out of place to me. I didnt enjoy they feeling of betraying her trust to someone she was in a relationship with. It just wasnt right.
This one is a thumbs down for me.
