Schulyer Van Alen, an orphan, is an outsider. Yet, Jack Force, the most popular guy in school seems drawn to her. And her veins are turning blue. Not to mention, she's starting to have deep cravings for raw, bloody meat.
Schulyer finds that she is a Blue Blood, that is, a vampire. Yet, all is not what it seems in the Blue Blood world.
When one of the popular, blue blood girls is found dead, havoc breaks loose.
Because Blue Bloods are not supposed to die.
And Schulyer and her friends need to get to the bottom of the problem. Before something else bad happens.
I loved this book, I thought it was a pretty unique type of vampire that Melissa de la Cruz ha created, as well as her way of entwining the story. The characters are real and relatable. The only qualms I had about this book was that it was too short, I never wanted it to finish.
