Boy Meets Girl is about Kate, newly hired to work in human resources for a NYC newspaper. The entire office, including her best friend Jen, hates their boss, Amy Jenkins. When the dessert lady, Ida Lopez, is fired after refusing to serve a piece of key lime pie to the company lawyer, Stuart Hertzog, Kate is caught up involuntarily in the big mess. Ida Lopez decides to sue Amy and Kate for wrongful termination. Since Stuart cant take on the case, (he is personally involved with Amy) the case is taken over by Stuarts younger brother, Mitchell. When Kate (newly free from her bf, Dale) meets Mitchell, she begins to fall for his looks and charm. Jen backs her up 100%, encouraging her to take every opportunity to win his heart. But Dale seems to interfere in Kates life. Finally, when Kate thinks that things are going well, she ends up being fired from her job for allegedly making up lies about Amy. Mitch is blamed for the big mess. Then Mitch has to find a way to make it up to her&

Boy Meets Girl was probably one the best Meg Cabot books (if its possible to choose)! I absolutely loved it. It was humorous and romantic at the same time. The characters were so developed that I either hated the character (Stuart) or loved them (Mitch). I wish that Mitch were real, lol. All Meg Cabot (and non Meg Cabot) fans have to pick up this book. I couldnt put it down , so I read it all in one day. It was amazing.
