This book never really received much praise, but I got toally involved in the whole story line. It was so much fun and had me laughing outloud! I loved the main character, Kate Mackenzie, a young, bright, and innocent country girl. She's a human resource rep. at the NY Journal now and is involved in a case involving the firing of the Journal's best bakery chef. Kate has to give a desposition with Ida's (the baker) lawyer, Mitchel Hertzog. But he's so cute and she really really likes him. But he's the opposition, but he's also on Kate's side, who didn't even want Ida fired in the first place! All this because of Kate's mean and bossy boss.
It's so fun to read all this through Kate's emails, phone messages, letters, notes, and diary entries. You'll surely be entertained. Read to find out what happens to Kate and Mitch's relationship! This book is hooking and keeps you reading little parts of it all day long.
