If you think your life is messed up, you have to read this book! It will send you laughing and the style of writing allows you to sympathize with the main characters. The main story is: Katy is working for a horrible boss who gets her to fire the ever-so-popular dessert lady. She then gets tangled up in a complicated court case involving the termination of the dessert lady's job which ends with Katy being fired. Where does the boy come in? Well, the lawyer (who's brother got the dessert lady fired) is extremely cute and Katy simply cannot resist despite the fact that he is working for corporations whom she hates and kind of got her fired...
