Exceedingly over-thetop planner, Vassar and her parents have her entire life mapped out. From her needed 5.3 GPA (the new 4.0 apparently) to her University...to her future as a winner of a Putilizer Prize..every breathing moment is accounted for.

Until...Vassar's crazy grandma insists that she join her on an obscure vacation, and blackmails Vassar's parents to force Vassar to go with her to Malaysia, Cambodia and Laos.

During her trip Vassar learns many things about herself and life, especially that she'll never ever take toilets for granted.

The more crisises she survives and the more she opens up her mind, the more the reader and even her friends (as shown through a novel Vassar insists on writing for AP/APP english credit) like her.

Vassar's grandma also drops a big bomb on her and Vassar realizes she's not who she thought she was and maybe planning really isn't the way to happiness.

I found this book unique and fun. I suggest you read it.
