Review Detail

While it is still a good book, I feel like this book wouldn't appeal to people who haven't read Fangirl. It's supposed to be stand alone, but unless you understand that it is based on fictional fan fiction, it just reads like bad Harry Potter fanfic, as opposed to Rowell's other books which are excellent and unique. I just don't think fantasy is Rainbow Rowell's genre. But, on the other hand, if you love Harry/Draco ship fan fic, Carry On is the book for you!
