Four girls, all named Taylor, make for one unforgettable friendship! International bestseller Elizabeth Eulberg follows four stories of first love, friendship, and heartbreak. Don't miss the sister novel, Jen Calonita's The Taylors!
The Taylors -- Teffy, Tay, TS, and Taylor -- have survived their first year of high school and can't wait for summer to start. But the drama doesn't go away just because they want it to.
It turns out that Teffy's been keeping a massive secret from her parents. Tay's supposed to spend the summer performing with her new band, but it's not the rockstar life she expected. Taylor's past comes back to haunt her while working at summer camp. And TS gets to spend the summer in London with Gemma's very fancy family . . . who doesn't approve of her.
The Taylors need each other more than ever, but they're spending the summer apart. Is it going to be so long, London and so long, Taylors?

“Cruel Summer (The Taylors Version #2) by Elizabeth Eulberg allows readers to take another peek into the lives of four best friends—Teffy, Tay, Taylor, and TS. The girls are ready to let loose and enjoy their summers with their friends and significant others, but it isn’t going to be as easy as they might have thought.

As Teffy agonizes over whether to tell her parents about how she’s started dating Liam, she isn’t sure how they’ll take it since they used to be best friends with his parents. When the truth finally does come out, it becomes more problematic, as she doesn’t have him all to herself anymore and needs to figure out how to cope with hanging with his friends, one of whom has always been a bully to her.

At the same time, Tay is dealing with her boyfriend, Reece, and their band. All seems like it’s going well, that is until she starts wondering if the band may get in the way of her relationship, since Reece has a clear vision of what he wants, and their ideas—and those of the band—don’t seem to be matching up.

Taylor tries to get away from the past year and the jerk of a boyfriend she had so she can release any tension of freshman year and move happily forward into being a sophomore. Little does she know that her past may turn up to haunt her, all while she misses her friends while working as a counselor at summer camp.

Then there’s TS, who just wants to find the perfect time to say she loves her girlfriend, Gemma, while they travel to London together to meet Gemma’s family. Life gets in the way, however, when TS and Gemma find that their mutual love of soccer and spending time together may not be enough as they deal with Gemma’s overbearing relatives.

Following the lives of the four Taylors will take readers right into the thick of it all, with Taylor Swift songs and wording thrown in for good measure. Elizabeth Eulberg has captured the spirit of Taylor Swift and the lives of teenage girls well, making any reader eager to see where the girls will go next.
