As Jen Lindley is granted permission for the 4 friends, including Dawson Leery, Joey Potter, and Pacey Witter, to visit her parents's Vermont ski house, steam emerges to melt the snowy idea. The group wanted a weekend away from monotonous Capeside, "Mass." and almost instant gratification has them perky, thinking of only fun and games. On the vacation, sensitive filmmaker and Joey's ex-boyfriend, Dawson, plans to win back her heart. Meanwhile, Jen, the wild one, is trying to charm Dawson, who is also her ex-boyfriend. Pacey, quite the "girl-chaser," meets a clumsy, but amazing snowboarder girlfriend. Joey ends up dating two ego-maniac skiers at once. To make this even crazier, Jen believes that her father is unfaithful. A jumble of events if there ever was one!

I gave this book a 3 because the characters kept me hooked, as I am a Dawson's Creek fan. But, Rodriguez, the author, did not essentially catch the characters language. I am not saying he didn't portray their personalities correctly. He didn't write what some of the characters would say. Some of the lines were somewhat cheesy. Rodriguez did, however, portray the sarcasm and anger of Pacey. I recommend the book for anyone who watches Dawson's Creek or is a young adult.
