Sixteen-year-old Camelia's life has been nothing out of the ordinary until one night when Ben, a mysterious guy pushes her out of the way of a speeding car and saves her life. But it's his touch that haunts her. Somehow his touch sets something off and her life will never be the same.

Ben later comes to her school but rumors follow him. He's blamed for the death of his ex-girlfriend. No one wants anything to do with. No one that is except Camelia who wants to know more about his touch. Soon though Camelia receives threatening calls and strange packages. Ben insists she's in danger and he wants to help but can he be trusted?

This tale mixes mystery with the paranormal. Who is Ben exactly? And why can't Camelia get his touch out of her head? Fast paced, this tale has the reader wondering if Ben is playing head games with Camelia or someone else is obsessed with her. I wanted to know more about Ben's ability and how he is able to know what is going to happen in the future.

The dialogue between Camelia and her friends is lively and at times hilarious. Also her relationship with her hippie mother and accountant family brings favor to the story too. I'm curious to know more about psychometry--the ability to "see" though touch and how this will affect both Ben and Camelia's relationship. The sequel Deadly Little Lies will hopefully address this and more.
