When Edie sees Dylan for the first time in photography class she falls for him instantly. But Dylan is the moody popular boy that all the girls lust after—how can Edie make him hers?

Lucky for Edie, Dylan notices her soon enough, and it’s not long until the two are kissing. Unfortunately, it doesn’t go smoothly from there—they can’t get enough of each other but because Dylan is his moody self, he often confuses poor Edie, who can be unstable. Whenever alone, the two kiss and can’t get enough of each other, but when they’re out in public, Dylan doesn’t treat her like anything more than a friend. So Edie ends up going out with another boy when Dylan appears to be close with other girls.

Edie befriends Shona, however, she might have a thing for Dylan, but she really likes Paul, Dylan’s best friend. Mia, who was one of Edie’s friends, is the one who’s all over Paul, and they end up dating. With all these love triangles, disaster is inevitable! Can they survive the upcoming photography trip to Paris? Will Dylan finally show his true feelings? And will it be for Edie, whom he shares hot kisses with in the corners? Or someone else? With dirty tricks and mean girls and tricky relationships, true colors will show before the end!

French Kiss is the first book of the trilogy “Diary of a Crush.” Although this was an enjoyable book, it just wasn’t as good as other chick lits out there. The plot wasn’t brilliant, nor was the development of the characters. But if you’re looking for a quick, fun read, then this book is for you! You may enjoy it, or you may not, but I just don’t feel all that compelled to finish reading this trilogy.

Nothing too explicit in this book; but lots of kissing and a few mentions of other teenage topics, so I’d recommend this for teens 14 and up.

The diary of the crush sequel is the best sequel you will read in your life it is so outstanding with all the rivalry, jealousy and love triangles. when I read the books I feel lost in them and I imagine that I am the main character Edie as I love everything about her. if you haven't read this sequel you must...
I think they should make it into a film sequel as it would get loads of people watching .

This Book is AMAZING, as are the other two.
I love them, and they have helped me through thick and thin. ( I know that sound odd for a book, but if I just want to escape my own life I will just pick up this book.)
They are just so discriptive and very relatable too.
(I also think that im in Love with Dylan too which isnt good :P.)
If you dont know weather to get it or not. Dont hesatate it is amazing and extreamly well written and if you are 15-20 you will love it, or at least I hope you do :).

All three of these books are an amazingly thrilling roller coaster ride through the trials of love, happiness, and life itself. I've read the series once, and I am working on reading it again! I am a reluctant reader, and I can assure you that this is THE book for a reluctant person. It's thrilling, and incredible gripping from beginning to end! Enjoyy! (:

This book was all about a teen crush, Edie is new to her college in manchester, she has just moved from brighton and is finding it hard to make friends, A girl called Mia soon befriends her but turns out to be not quite what she expected, and Mia turns everything upside down and Edies crush Dylan kisses her and wont talk to her, when they all go to paris on a photography trip Edie makes several last minute attempts to get together with Dylan but it all ends up in disaster... until her birthday...it is quite similar to My Desperate Love Diary by Liz Rettig, i would recommend it for ages 15 and up due to the themes of the book and some content which may be lost on anyone younger. i wildly enjoyed it and read it in one sitting.

i feel that the author wrote thhis book well and the characters were developed enough to not interfere with the general plot, although some people feel that the story doesnt develop enough, i feel that it is the right amount as the focus is on the story of her crush on Dylan.

the ending of the book leaves it a bit in the air as to whether they are going to stay toghther, this is because Edie questions Dylan a lot on whether he really wants to be with her and it makes you wonder whether they really are going to stick together. however the ending ia a happy one and so leaves it on a good roll as Dylan and Edie are a happy couple and everything seems o be back to normal.

I really cant wait to read the next book!!!

I thought that this book was very good. it is 214 pages and read all 214 pages in one day. i couldn't put it down, i even read while eating dinner, (and usually if i dont like a book i will stop right in the middle). it takes a good look at how everything isn't what it seems and that you need to trust abd watch yourself as well as watch your back. i thought that during the romantic parts that i was wishing that i was there instead of her. overall i thought that this book was fantactic.

i hope that if you deside to read this book that you will feel the same way. HAPPY READING.

this book was amazing!!! it was the most incredible piece literature, the protagonist was so incredible! she was so developed, and i felt like i knew her. like she existed....and i feel madly, hopelessly, and unconditionally in love with Dylan. And he plot was so great, with lots of twists and turns and well thought out. I couldn't put it down, i read it within two days non-stop.
you know you love me,
