Diary of A Crush book 1: French Kiss
is an amazing book. We see Edie fall for the hot, popular, arty guy Dylan....the love of her life. Things are sarting to hot up, as Edie begins to think Dylan may really be into her...but before long it all goes pear shaped. Even tho Dylan admits he has some feelings for her, he says Edie isnt the girl for him...but they keep hooking up, like everytime their alone together! Then the Paris trip comes round and things are smoking!!! Dylan and Edie are hooking up one minute...and then next he acts like it didnt happen at all. In the end Edie has had enough but cant stop herself absolutely LOVING him. Will Edie get over Dylan...or do they end up together????

I disagree with the first review-not only was this the best chick lit book ever, it was the best book i have read in my life. I have read and reread the trilogy and highly recommend it. THe characters are amazing and loveable, and so well developed you feel as if you are actually freinds with them. I do not usually like books written in diary form, but it completely worked here. Seeing how much Edie changes from book one to three was cool, and I tihnk every reader falls in love with Dylan a little bit. I recommend these and all of Sarra Mannings books.

In diary of a crush #1 French Kiss is a dazzling & wonderful story. I loved that on the second page it gets automatically good. You feel for Edie & I in a way am so much like her it crazy. She sees Dylan after to moving from Brighton to Manchester. He instantly makes her want to stay. But she was so shy until they were partners & they kissed.

So on through the whole book you get Edie & Dylan bickering & kissing. When Edie gets tired of Dylans ways she gets with Josh. You can tell Dylans Jealous. But it soon changes during a trip to Paris when their feelings spill out & you know that they are meant for eacgother.

Diary of a crush #1 French Kiss is the best teen book I've read so far. I had to read the whole series twice. You get to a good part from the beggining. You love the characters and feel as if you wre there. You wish Dylan were real. I recommend Diary of a crush to any teen looking for a good teen love story.

This book was amazing! Normally in my classes I don't stay awake for anything but when I read this book I can see everything going on and some thigs about Edie and her life with Dylan remind me of mine and how I wish I could be her. Anyway, I haven't seen the second one at all and I can't wait to read it! This is a truly wonderful book and I hope other girls at my age are inspired by it too. Like I was when it came to the boy area!!! Love Loads

This is, quite literally as the title says, a diary of a crush, a crush thats probably very obsessive as Edie is completely immersed into it. 16-year-old Edies family has just moved to a new town. Edie finds her new classmates hard to know, but there are several who intrigue her most. One of them is Dylan, the hot but moody artist whos the guy of every girls dreams. The other is Shona, Dylans best girl friend since childhood, a cool girl whos got it all together.

Edie develops an epic crush-to-end-all-crushes on Dylan upon first sight. She chronicles in her diary the awkwardness of becoming friends with Dylan. This is the boy who grabs her and kisses her senseless one minute, then simmers and ignores her the next. When will she ever figure out what his feelings for her are? Perhaps a school art trip to Paris, the city of romance, will help reveal the truth.

This is a good book for those who liked Gossip Girls and the A-list. More serious readers, however, will find this book lacking in substance and style. Edie is a petty protagonist, way too obsessed with her crush in my opinion.

i think this book was very good and worth reading on. I know it made me want to read on and on and on to the point where i couldnt even put the book down. The second book i must say, kiss and make up, would have to be my favourite. I would suggest you read "french kiss" and look forward to reading on in this fantastic triliogy. It is honestly very good, and if there is anyone out there that would like to recommend something better, please do tell.
