This is a collection of stories by various authors about, you guessed it, girls and thier periods. Some of the stories were pretty boring, but some are very funny and would remind you of something like the Princess Diaries or anything by those new teen writers.
The first story "Taking Care of Things" is about a girl who gets her period in the middle of school and tries to find a bathroom, which turns out to be an embarrassing obstacle for her, but it all turns out alright in the end. "The heroic Quest of Douglas McGawain" is a hilarious account of a boyfriend who is on a mission for a box of tampons that his girlfriend needs. "The Uterus Fairy" is a bout a girl who didn't get her period for 3 months and she's scared she's pregnant. She learns that having her period is actually a great and comforting thing.
There are some more that a very good, as well. This is a good book to read on a rainy day. And you can skip around because the editor tells a brief summary of each story in the beginning, so you can choose what sounds interesting. It wasn't the best, and I've never heard of any of the writers, but most of them are talented and have great stories doe teen girls!
