The author of the book wrote this book from Anne's point of view. I admit, it was extremely hard for me to feel any sympathy for Anne. She was pretty much mean to everyone except King Henry and her daughter. I do feel sorry for Elizabeth, because her sister was mean to her, just like her mother was mean to Mary herself. Elizabeth had a very complicated life until she was queen. I think her own mother was to blame, with her own outrageous behavior.
