What worked: I'm a huge fan of short story anthologies. I'm also a huge fan of diversity in YA. ETERNALLY YOURS has both of these and more. In this collection, there are vamps; demons; zombies; merfolk; fallen angels; and more!
Here's some of my favorites:
PIANO SONATA NO. 13 by Kalynn Bayron. A musical composition equals deadly results
KISS THE BOY by Adib Khorram. A mistaken kiss leads to a merfolk questioning the nature of soul mates.
IF YOU GIVE AN ASURA A COOKIE by Akshaya Raman. Sometimes who you really desire might be closer than you think.
IN THE EYES OF ANGELS by Alexis Henderson. A fallen angel's plight intermingles with a troubled girl's future.
