EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU is a YA romance set in Paris. Though it’s age range shows as 13+, I found that this book does feel more geared towards older teenagers closer to graduating high school than younger teens though. Milo has won a fashion apprenticeship and he’s eager to show his skills. Things go awry when his friend has to leave early and he’s stuck with a surprise competitor for the job at the end of the apprenticeship. When romance blooms, will Milo let down his walls and will Rhodes be more than a tabloid playboy?

What I Loved:
Milo and Rhodes are apprentices at a fashion house and Robby Weber clearly did research into fashion. The level of detail given to fabrics and outfits is incredible. Even as someone who is not into fashion, I was drawn in by the descriptions and wording that the author used. It reflected Milo’s own passion for the fashion world.

This book brims with life. From the characters to the setting, everything feels so lush and bright. I can practically feel the Paris summer weather by Robby Weber’s descriptions. He immerses readers into this world and entangles them into the setting. It feels lovingly crafted, a gift from the author to the reader.

Both main characters, Milo and Rhodes, are fully fleshed-out with layers of depth to them. Milo is such an easy character to root for and you want to see him make it in this foreign world. He’s charming and sweet, but he’s not a perfect character. He’s got flaws, both of them do, and that only makes them feel more like real people.

What Left Me Wanting More:
The pacing of the book did feel a bit off. It started to lag in the middle and I found it hard to stay attached to the plot and characters. I was always able to re-immerse myself in the story eventually, but it was a struggle at times. I don’t know if a different pacing would have suited this story better, or if the lag was simply the author giving time for the characters to breathe. I struggled with it and other readers may as well.

Final Verdict:
If you want a sweet YA romance with rich characters and a vibrant setting, EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU may be an excellent choice. It left me wanting to visit Paris and more interested in fashion than I ever expected to be. Robby’s characters were charming and likeable, and I found that they were what drew me back into the story.
