We just finished the bitter ending to Fearless: Sam. Now something even more heart-wrenching and tragic has occured. Sam, Gaia's love of her life, has been taken hostage and will soon die if Gaia doesn't make it on time. But first Gaia must pass a series of tough challenges that test both her skills and her will to save Sam.

Can she do it before time runs out?

This is a really captivating read with a butt-kicking heroine. I couldn't put this book down. Awesome

Sam has been kidnapped, and Gaia must find him before his diabetes kills him. First, though, she must complete a series of tasks to satisfy his kidnappers. Can she complete them in time to save Sam?

The Fearless series is very successful when the focus remains on the action; the series falls apart when it focuses on love. Book 3, Run, is great because it takes place over the course of one day, from the moment that Gaia wakes up Monday morning until the meeting with the kidnappers that night. Characters like Ed and Heather are also more further developed as they try, in their own way, to help Sam. Or maybe I just liked this edition because Sam was pretty much out of it? As I said, the series is great when Gaia is fighting bad guys or avoiding Nazi youth. When is much less convincing is the love between Gaia and Sam. In the last book she wanted to lose her virginity to him because she thought she was going to die, and now suddenly they share a great love? I don't buy it.

But I will keep reading the books. . .

This book is the 3rd book in the fearless series. Gaia's friend Sam has been kidnapped by someone unknown. When she gets a video tape of Sam's horrible condition and the fact that is she doesn't save him he willl die due to his diabetic condition Gaia has no choice but to preform all the hideos tasks that they tell her to do. Gaia enlists the help of Ed who is her best friend and Gaia's enemy, Heather who is Sam's girlfriend insists in helping.
This book is really good and alll Francine Pascal fans will enjoy it.
