Better than the first of the series, "The Christopher Killer," the second book continues the story of Cammie as she deals with yet another forensic crime, though this one deals with another person close to her. The body tells a story, Cammie believes, but in this novel, the body seems to be impossible and, as the novel twists, Cammie find herself struggling to solve this one case which she pins as another murder.

As Cammie falls in love with one of her classmates, she finds herself struggling to solve the case and keep her love life together as well. Blinded by her love for Kyle, she cannot see what is in front of her. As she learns about her past as well, Cammie continues her quest to meet her mother, whom she cannot remember. This too adds her to stress about solving the case that is now currently in her and her father's hands.

With shocking plot twists and frustrating emotions, "The Angel of Death" continues the series in a quick and fun way, allowing the reader more time to fall in love with the characters and strive to solve the case along with Cammie. Something for readers who enjoy CSI, this novel will create another mystery that will leave readers grabbing at anything in order to solve the case.
