Guy Langman may be the smartest guy in school (though people don't know it),he might be the funniest ( it doesn't matter the girls never laugh at his jokes). But without a doubt he is definitely known as being the laziest.He doesn't like to work too hard and he loves naps and baths. Why is he like this? Guy isn't sure, but his theorist keeps saying he might be depressed over the death of his father.

To help Guy out of his funk, Anoop, his best friend gets him to sign up for the Forensics Squad. Guy isn't sure if he likes it since it includes work. But one day things change; he finds out his dad had a major secret,someone breaks into his house, and a real body is found at their mock crime scene! Does Guy have enough forensic experience to solve all these crimes while researching his own father's mysterious life?

Guy Langston makes a fabulous narrator. He is definitely has the voice of a teenage boy, who copes with some serious situations by adding a little locker room humor. Sometimes the humor comes at the right time and sometimes it is completely inappropriate. But this is understandable coming from Guy and his friends. It is what makes his voice so refreshing. Their humor reminds me a lot of my male friends in high school. Sometimes it made me laugh, sometimes it made me shake my head. The locker room humor isn't for everyone.

The story starts of slow, but Guy's humor helps make the reading enjoyable. The story quickly picks up pace with the arrival of a real crime scene. The book includes some uninteresting information about forensics, but nothing too complicated. The ending made the story worth the read. It was an enjoyable read and Guy's perspective brought realism and a great sense of humor to it all. Overall I truly liked the book.
