Hikaru has finally gotten into the Go academy, and is on his way to becoming a Go master. While at the school he meets all sorts of new friends, but still hasnt caught a glimpse of his nemesis. Meanwhile, Hikarus Go skills are getting better and better, but will he be able to learn all the ancient Go master Sai has to teach him?

I have to admit that this was the first book in this series, and I was a little lost, although I picked it up fairly quickly. I didnt really enjoy it, but that might have changed if I had read the whole thing. My advice would to be to start from the beginning, it will make a lot more sense that way.
