Koly is married to a sick boy. So sick in fact that he barely seems to last the marriage ceremony and is soon dead. Koly is left alone with her in-laws who quite obviously don't want her. Soon she finds herself left alone on the streets of India, homeless. But Koly knows that she will never give up....
A tale of hope; this book is truly beautiful and shows Koly's struggle to find her place in our harsh world.
