David Gershwin's summer takes a strange turn when he runs into his dad's new patient Zelda. She's gorgeous and also a tad bit crazy as she claims she's from outer space and is on a mission to find her soul mate who just happens to be Johnny Depp.

David knows he should stay away from Zelda but he can't. What happens next is a fast paced romp through Paris to find Johnny Depp. Along the way David finds out that there's much more to Zelda then her gorgeous green eyes.

This is a hilarious romp that I didn't want to end! David's infatuation with the gorgeous alien Zelda has the reader going through a number of road blocks that include outlaw Vahalalians, who just happen to be model gorgeous and other crazy things. What teen boy wouldn't want to have his DNA checked by a tattoo covered gorgeous girl? The way Zelda does it puts a whole new meaning behind French kissing!

David arcs from being the obedient, shy son to someone who is willing to risk his own life to help Zelda on her insane quest. I loved the dialogue and the exchange between Zelda and David. Also fun was Malou, David's somewhat stepsister. Her quirkness adds to the favor of this tale.

Fast-paced this story has a hero that is sure to appeal to readers plus one kick butt heroine who might in fact be from Outer Space. You can't help but cheer for David and even Zelda as they race through Paris on a quest to find Johnny Depp. What both of them find at the end is a satisfying conclusion to a wild tale.
