"This just didn’t happen to girls like me. This just didn’t happen to anyone."

hehe LOVED this book! I cant wait for the next one!!!! I loved the intro. It was creative, from a different point of view and I liked how I had to keep reading to find out who was speaking. Any book that begins with Damn is OK in my book!

"Damn. I never should have agreed to this. What is he thinking? Here we are in a piece of crap pickup truck on our way to sit outside of a supermarket to kidnap this girl. Damn. He’d better not be falling for her. Sure she’s cute, but I can’t think about that." Talk about an interesting opening to a novel!

Oh you know, Adriana is your average psychic teen who is kidnapped by two hotties from her school who have secrets of their own. I loved the setting of New Orleans and Hurricane Katrina. The writing was beautiful and so were the descriptions especially when they returned to New Orleans after the Hurricane.

One more and then I'm done...

"She doesn’t even have shoes on” He was trying to reconcile something in his head while talking to Luke.
“In all the time you spent in that shack, you forgot to pack her shoes?” Luke asked rhetorically, shaking his head in both wonder and disappointment. “Look, we’re in the boonies. I am sure shoes are optional, as are a full set of teeth.”

hehe I love Luke! What I wouldn't do to be Adriana. I could totally imagine Hayden being in her house at this scene to get her things. what WAS he doing in there?
