Once I started, I couldn't stop until it was finished and thrumming in my hands. Actually, I lied, since I listened to the audio, but I imagine myself holding the book and my hands are shaking because I'm thinking of the world covered in water, even Philadelphia, and I'm wrecked,...
This is in my top 5 books of 2012, probably top 2 of the year, also. This was SOOOOO, so good!!
A powerful and gripping story. A Must Read. You'll never be the same after reading this novel. This deserves way more than 5/5 stars. It's so much more than that. Wow.
I devoured this book in less than 2 days. It was amazing, gripping and FUN! You'll love how tempting this forbidden, paranormal love story is! A must read.
I want to read this book again, to peel back even more layers. It was so wonderful and delicious and powerful. Full. Of. Life.
I can't say enough good things about this book. It's a fantastic and worthy debut by Hathaway. I'm thrilled to know there's more coming from this story, and I can't wait for the next book!! Delicious!
I found this story a great and enjoyable read. It reads very fast, and I look forward to seeing anything else Jennifer Smith comes out with. Highly recommended!
I am amazed by how deeply she developed the relationship of Tris and Tobias. Insurgent is masterfully written. You will thoroughly enjoy it.
I give DESTINED 5 stars and suggest you all add it to your To Read Pile. p.s. I can't wait to see what Jessie comes out with next.
These are not your everyday characters, and this is not your everyday story. And, where Lyga takes these two is as beautiful and terrible as a phoenix rising from the ashes once again. This was a kick ass read.
AmaZING. And, GOTH GIRL RISING is even better.
A brilliant read. Daisy Whitney is a Rockstar, and I can't wait to read her next book, already in the process of publication.
I gave this book a 5 out of 5 stars, and that was before I learned it was a product of National Novel Writing Month, affectionately called NaNoWriMo (held every November). SUMMER ON FIRE reminds me of a more innocent (and not so innocent) time when life seemed simpler and...
It was an enjoyable read for me, and I really enjoyed it. I would recommend this for a 7th or 8th grade class. I'd like to read more books by Natasha Friend, too.
I read this after reading Delirium, so I already liked Oliver's style, but I was amazed by the ending to this novel. It lingers and makes you think.
