Learning beyond the pages

Do Fish Only Live Underwater? is a non-fiction book about ichthyology (the study of fish) that is part of the Big Questions Answered series. Written by Olivia Watson, the book not only answers the title question but also explains the concept of evolutionary adaptation and how fish continue to adapt to their environment.

What I Liked: I was hooked by the title right away, and the book didn’t disappoint. There is something new to learn on every single page! Although it’s geared toward kids, I found it just as informative from an adult perspective. The illustrations are especially great. They’re bold and engaging, which really helps bring the scientific information to life as you read.

The book concludes with a wealth of extra content. From fish facts to a glossary to a QR code that extends the experience online, there are plenty of tools to help young readers continue their learning journey beyond the final page.

Do Fish Only Live Underwater ? is the perfect book for curious readers, especially those who love marine biology.
