About This Book:
BabyVision: What Next? is based on Baby Science, which finds that between 4 and 5 months, babies start to learn to see movement in still images. The images in this book have been designed to capture the motion that babies will see in the world around them which they will learn to anticipate. Building on the success of Look Touch Learn, BabyVision has been developed with a leading university baby lab. A bold and contrasting palette of colors is optimally suited to infant retinas and looks completely different to more traditional books for babies.
Each book in the new BabyVision series is designed to promote early visual development through targeted stimulation, using topics such as repetition, optical illusions, odd one out and sequencing.

colorful board book of actions
WHAT NEXT? is a colorful board book that introduces the concept of actions and movement. Each page has a baby or animal who is getting ready for an action, followed by them performing the action (such as pushing, jumping, flying).
What I loved: This is full of simple but very bright and colorful illustrations that will grab infant’s attentions. The illustrations help to show the before and after or during of an action with repetitive and simple phrasing of “Ready” and the action word. This book moves as quickly as babies would like, which allows them to go at their own pace.
Final verdict: WHAT NEXT? is a colorful and vibrant board book that helps introduce actions to babies with attention-grabbing imagery and simple words.
