SAFARI ANIMALS is one of the books in the Peek-a-Clue series. This board book features three mystery animals that can be found during a safari. With each page, children are given new cutout features and information to guess what the animal is.
This is a pretty straight forward book. You get what you expect to get. A book about animals where kids are given cutouts and clues to guess what the animals are. The images are nice and colorful. Simple illustrations of the animal with different cutouts for each page to slowly reveal clues about the animal’s identity. The little bits of information given about each animal is good and age appropriate. Some words may be new to younger readers, but most of them should be fairly common.
A simple but fun book, PEEK-A-CLUE: SAFARI ANIMALS is a solid read for the young kids who like animals. Featuring information as well as images, it blends together mystery and education.
