This story forces your imagination to go in all different directions due to the unordinary things used with in the story. This story involves a lot of magical things that make you ask yourself if this could really be true? Yet the author uses his theme of magic in all different ways to pull you deeper into the story not allowing you to set the book down. This story uses many different events that forces your mind to imagine this different world. For instance you have giant slithers, bulls, strange plants, floating land, yucky leaches. It also involves old bull. These are all things that the author uses to support his story and get you deeper into it. In the story itself the author throws many different unique challenges at Ray which causes the story to become more and more exciting. The story begins with Ray leaving his home village. From there the story journeys through Ray's troubles trying to find the place lost and deep. The author takes you through a journey full of excitement while you follow Ray through these tuff events that he faces.
