The whole point of this book is not the beginning, nor the end, but the journey through the story itself. You get enough insight into Ray's character to believe his emotions and motivations, and the story moves right along. Simply amazing.

This is one of the best books I have ever read! It is very fun and in parts is actually funny. The story line always makes you want to read more and makes you never want to stop to take a break!! It is the story of Ray and the old bull. Ray leaves his village to go to the lost place. He has adventures.

Magic Lands Journey beyond the beyond is a brilliant novel by the acclaimed writer Robert Stanek. The plot was eventful and action packed 'til the end. It was practically impossible for us to put down. The ending was unexpected but definitly rewarding. At the start of the story a boy named Ray goes in search of the place that is lost. He is kind of scared like when you first have to walk to school by yourself. He is very brave but sometimes afraid on account of the big bull there.

I usually am a fan of mystery books but when I read this book I completely changed my view. I love the book, although my favorite character is Ray I liked Kerrie and true a lot too. Ray lives in a land of magic and wonder. He is like my best friend.

I started reading this book because my teacher recommended it. I started reading ahead cause I loved it. I was quickly caught by the imaginative world. The author has such an incredible imagination. I would recommend this book to my friends.

You'll be hooked. Quite simply, it the best adventure story ever written in the history of mankind. I love how Ray isnt afraid and is a good friend. I heard of Robert Stanek before but never imagined this. Robert Stanek has a great mind!!

Magic Lands Journey Beyond the Beyond is a magical Candyland taking you on an hilarious frightening adventure. Robert Stanek tells an excellent story, making it all seem extra ordinary. Magic Lands is a must read that should fit onto anyone's reading list. I would recommend this book to ALL AGES. It captivates the mind and keeps you hooked from the first page.

This story forces your imagination to go in all different directions due to the unordinary things used with in the story. This story involves a lot of magical things that make you ask yourself if this could really be true? Yet the author uses his theme of magic in all different ways to pull you deeper into the story not allowing you to set the book down. This story uses many different events that forces your mind to imagine this different world. For instance you have giant slithers, bulls, strange plants, floating land, yucky leaches. It also involves old bull. These are all things that the author uses to support his story and get you deeper into it. In the story itself the author throws many different unique challenges at Ray which causes the story to become more and more exciting. The story begins with Ray leaving his home village. From there the story journeys through Ray's troubles trying to find the place lost and deep. The author takes you through a journey full of excitement while you follow Ray through these tuff events that he faces.

I never thought I would like it. I didn't understand why everyone liked them so much. Then I read one and I now understand what caught everyone's eye's. I myself couldn't book the book down. It keeps you guessing every page you turn. That's what a reader likes to see. Suspense is what keeps going and going. I thought it was a great book and it's for people of all ages, not just kids. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
