Masquerade did not disappoint me at all.
It had action, romance, suspense, and of course vampires. As the sequel
to Blue Bloods, I thought Masquerade was just as excellent as the
first. All throughout it left me wondering, and I couldn't put the book
down. I love how the characters interact and just love reading about
them. The ending was perfect and left me hanging. I'm excited to read
the third book Revelations which I just bought in paperback. The fourth
book the Van Alen Legacy will be released October 6, 2009.

Oh, we are back to what I keep saying, I love sequels. It's so great to
jump back to the people you already know. That's why I'd rather read
series. So, this was amazing. I love her writing. It's like right to
the point, no hovering. I thought at first the story would be kind of
dull, but no way! I was slapped in the face for thinking that. You
discover a lot of new information as well as experience the awesome
things they can do.
The cover is much better than the first but
still not in my favorites. It could be much better, it would brake the
continuance though, so I guess I can get used to not-great covers if
the book is this good. Now i
know the characters so much better, but they do keep some mystery.
Specially Jack. I loved that too. We never really know what is going on
in his head.
The ending was fabulous. Full of surprises, so
you'll be dying to read the next one, as I am right now. This story just
keeps getting better.

Schuyler Van Alen is starting to get more comfortable with her newfound vampire powers, but she still has many unanswered questions. A trip to Italy to search for her grandfather only serves to make things more confusing. What secrets are the leaders of The Committee hiding? Meanwhile, back in New York, preparations are feverishly underway for the famous Four Hundred Ball. In true Blue Blood fashion, the ball is totally fabulus, complete with masks-and hidden behind this masquerade is a revelation that will change the course of a young vampire's destiny.Â

I thought this was a great book. This book was so captivating I read it in one day. I recomended this to all of my friends. When they finished the book they all told me how much they loved it.

I can not tell you how much I love this book! Ok, maybe I can. I LOVED this book SOOOO much. It to me, is better than Twilight. Twilight fans would go crazy if they read this. But seriously, this book has a plot that doesn't take more than 200 pages to get to. The characters are interesting. It has this love thing going on that is better than Bella falling in love with Eddie right away. Leading up to the big romance, Ms. Melissa de la Cruz? If you are, great job with it. This book always has me guessing what will come next. I am dying because I don't have Revelations, the third book in the Blue Bloods series.

masquerade is the long awaited sequel to blue bloods and doesnt disappoint in the cleffhanger department but is in pretty much everything else you wanted to know about. not to much more about the silver bloods, but a little more about Schuyler and jake but not enough to hold us over intell the next book comes out. this book is good, but not one of the top 5 best vampire books in my mind, but still a good book
