there are not many british teen chick lit out there and this one is worth mentioning. it's sweet and simple - very likable. i like angel cookson more than girls in other bigger-than-life heroines because she has such a positive attitude about it. yes, she did go on a diet to succumb to the society's definition of beauty, but she didn't let it get to her. she's tough and cool.i'm glad she learnt how much her weird family loved her =)
