it didn't impress me much.i read it because i read confession, so enough said. the storyline is pretty much predictable;underdog presidential candidate running against the most popular girl in school, but i think is a change to read something from the perfect girl point of view.maybe there's no such thing as a perfect life after all.

When a born-to-be, born-to-run everything Carla Santini is going to run for school presedent once more, Lola will not let her win that easily this time. The rules of the whole president election thing state that you have to go to Dell Wood High for more than Lola was there. Of course Lola comes up with another crazy plan of hers, she nominates Ella who threw up the last time she had to give a speech. In the middle of the book Carla finds out Ellas mothers big secret and uses her special talent: fills the whole school in on it. Ellas niceness is gone and when it comes to candidate debate for the first time in her life she has a real debate with someone and almost gets into a catfight. When the votes are counted Ella comes in second and Carla THIRD.
Overall I liked this book but I prefer books with more romance with more romance:).

The sequel to Confessions of a teenage Drama Queen did not turn out to be as dazzlingly dramatic or spectcular as I'd imagined. It's quite ordinary.

This book is about Ella, Lola Cep's best friend in the 'Confessions'.
It's basically about how perfect Ella seems on the outside, with the right clothes, right house and perfect parents. Then Lola, to spite their arch-nemisis, Carla Santini, signs Ella up to be student-body president, the not so perfect aspects of Ella's life begin to surface.
Like how her mother always drinks. Or, how her dad's never there. Or...why she looks after the house and cleans up after her mom.

This book is all about campaining and politics. However, in the end what Ella come out as? The winner? Or the loser to Carla Santini?

It's a satisfactory read, although I'm slightly board of the charcters in books always running for president. I just wish the book had a different theme. Otherwise, it was quite ok, although not perfect.
