My Sister's keeper is about a girl named Anna who was conceived so she could be a genetic match for her sister, Kate, who was diagnosed with Leukenia when she was 3 years old. Anna had undergone countless surgeries and transfusions and had finally had enough to make a desicion that could pull her family and kill the sister that she loves. This book really puts into perspective how much cancer affects a whole family's life, from the child with cancer, to her parents and the siblings. This book is unbelievably real and heartwarming, and will open up your eyes.
