One of the best parts of the book is the cliffhangers. Each time it gets harder and harder to stop reading. Since it is a mystery it keeps you reading and if you were a little kid reading this it would be easy to track the different parts of the book. The story tells you about teamwork, problem solving and friendships.

Another really great thing is the storyline. It is very in depth and intriguing. Also with the characters getting into arguments sometimes they disagree who should do it or what path they should take but they always find a way. The storyline helps the reader imagine what kind of a place the characters are at if the reader hasn't been there before and what the characters are doing in the story.

Overall, Mystery in Rocky Mountain National Park is an adventure filled book with the message of always having teamwork and if you disagree with your friends or have a problem then work together to solve it. I would recommend this book to Middle school students and any family that would like a good book to read on vacation.

Reviewer: Grant Pulvermacher

Mystery in Rocky Mountain National Park by Aaron Johnson is an action packed story about adventure, friendship, and traveling. This story takes place in Rocky Mountain National Park and follows 3 different kids that are going on a trip together. This book is an exciting, fast paced, realistic fiction adventure.

The story begins when Jake's Grandma says that there is something that his deceased grandpa had left in the attic. Jake discovers that there is a scavenger hunt that his Grandpa had been setting up for years and even attempted himself. The 3 kids, Jake, Amber, and Wes arrive at the Rocky Mountains and start the scavenger hunt. However, when many of their agendas fall through and don’t work out their parents start to lose trust in their kids.
