"New Moon" by Stephenie Meyer is the second book in the bestselling Twilight Saga, a teen vampire-human romance.
In this followup to Twilight, this book details the life of Bella, a human teenage girl, when her vampire boyfriend, Edward, and his family are forced to leave. It is during this book that the character of Jacob Black, a teenager werewolf, is truly introduced and the a dictionsry definition "love-triangle" develops between Bella, Edward, and Jacob.
I found this book to be as addicting as the first. I loved the complexity of this unusual teen romance. I thought it was very relateable, as a teen girl, with the inclusion of Bella's emotions and actions; although, it takes on an otherworldly feel in the inclusion of the vampire boyfriend. I will most certainly read the other books in the Saga.
