Bella turns 18, and is miserable because Edward can never be anything but 17 years old. A disasterous birthday party makes Edward see everyday he endangers Bellas life just being around her. Or so it seems. As it turns out, he tells Bella he just doesn't want her anymore and is moving away. They make a deal that Bella will stay out of trouble and Edward will stay away from her forever to cause her less pain. After months of just pausing her life, Bella decides to live like she's never lived before-on the edge. After all, Edward can never leave her, his promise was broken. So she turns to Jacob, an old family friend with romantic feelings for her. As Bella debates whether or not to go with Jacob, she finds herself tangled in with another clan of nonhuman creatures, fighting a battle caused by Bella. The clan tries to protect her, but Bellas daring side comes back out. A near-death experience shows how much Edward does care, and it's up to Bella to save Edward from himself...
This book was pretty good, not nearly as good as Twilight. I really hated Jacob at the end, he ruined everything. I won't say more, read it for yourself.
