One of the best books I've ever read. I cannot wait to start eclipse, terribly excited.

One of the best parts of this book is the entire excitement. Yes, some parts get a little slow (particularly because of personal choice, I would rather not have Bella do anything with Jake), but it is a complete thrill. I'd highly recommend this book, after you've read Twilight first of course, simply because it's phenomenal, full of darkness, love, and laughter at irony.

I really don't know how to say what a good writer Stephanie Meyer really is? Unbelievably brilliant doesn't even cover it.

In New Moon Bella struggles when edward suddenly decides to leave giving the impression that he no longer loved her.

How wrong could someone be???

In his absence Bella spends time with Jacob Black because of his suprising talent to rid her of the pain from the gaping hole in her chest.

When Jacob get's sick and changes bella doesn't know what to think.

When I was first introduced to the Twilight series I didn't want to read them. How believable is a love story between a vampire and a "normal" teenager? Once I read a couple of chapters in Twilight I realized that Stephenie has a way of grabbing her readers and never letting them go. New Moon continues with that. I was also slightly disappointed by the dissapearance of Edward, but the words that were used to describe the emptiness Bella felt were absolutely incredible. Every time Bella described how she felt like she would fall to pieces I felt the same way. Every time she described the holes, I felt like I also had holes in my heart. Every emotion that Bella felt was creatively painted through the pages of New Moon. The love story still continues to amaze me and I can not wait to see where it goes in the next one!

New Moon: An even better sequel to an awesome book!!

New Moon starts off with Bella's birthday, but when an unfortunate event occurs the Cullens decide to leave Forks and Bella for her benefit. Bella is so overcome with grief that she nothing else but grieve until she finds help from a family friend, Jacob Black. Jacob helps Bella so much through her hard time, that everyone she knows is completely surprised by the change in her personality. But suddenly Jacob stops answering her calls and tells her to stop coming over. Despite all of Bella's effort Jacob still stays aloof and starts hanging out with a group of guys who he used to despise. She then figures out that Jacob is a werewolf, the sole enemy of vampires. When Bella goes cliff-diving, Alice, Edward's sister, sees a vision that Bella jumps off the cliff, she thinks that she's committed suicide. When Edward hears what she's done he decide to kill himself. Now it's up to Bella ans Alice to save him.

I guarantee that anyone who read Twilight, will love New Moon. An even better sequel to amazing first book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This book is about a girl who is in love with a vampire name edward and when she thought her life could not get any better an accident occures and edward and his family leaves with out her and she finds her self lost and alone. I think this book was just as great as the first one twilight. I can't wait to read the third one eclipse.

Ok, this one, just like the first, grabs you and will NOT let you go until you're finished reading. heck, it doesn't let you go, even after reading it.

MANY SPOILERS!!!Bella and Edward are back in another adventure, well, Bella, at least. Bella is left brokenhearted when her true love leaves her alone in the gloomy town of forks. she becomes closer to Jacob, and it turns out that Jacob isn't exactly human, either... Bella finds that she can hear Edwards voice in her head clearly when she is taking a great risk. she jumps off the cliffs, into the ocean and news is sent to Edward that she is dead. he decides that he can't live knowing his true love is dead, so, he goes out of the country to get killed by the oldest clan of vampires....

this is an excellent book to follow the first. no complaints here. this is definitely second on my 'must read' list, right after the first, new york best seller novel, twilight.

Like I said, Oh my gosh stephenie you have so much power!!!!!!! You have so much influence on the reader's emotions as they're reading your book it's almost scary. I read your first book "Twilight" in a week, which normally with a book that size it's lucky if I finish it in a month! I couldn't put this book down. I had to keep reading it, I read it for 4 hours straight! I only got half of the book read in that length of time though. It took me a little bit longer than that to read "New Moon" though. I read it for 6 hours straight and missed dinner because of it. ( there was so much emotion running through me I didn't want my family thinking something was wrong with me or something, I just have a hard time keeping my emotions in!) I think that you should write longer books, we never want them to end. I read both these books in 1 month. Currently I read Twilight 2 times and am working on the 3rd and I have read New moon 1 1/2 times and am working on re-finishing that one. I'm rally picky about the books that I read and this one never doubted me. I love the covers on both books! I feel that if I were to read another book I would be utterly bored because this is the most perfectly paced most adreneline pumping series ever. I don't think that I am ever going to be interested in another series again so I hope you have a very long life and will continue writting the most awesome series with the most awesome consept ever!! Ever since I started reading these books I've been waiting for my adventer to begin and I sincerley hope that there are real vampires out there and one as perfect as Edward that will end up falling in love with me. Thank you so much Stephenie for harnessing your talent in a way that so many others before you have failed to accomplish. You are now my Idol and an Idol to the rest of the world. Thank You!
P.S. I was wondering what the covers of the books really ment. I think that the cover of Twilight with the apple has something to do with Adam and Eve and the creation of bad and good. Mainly because the story is about vampires in their struggle to be good even with bad thrust upon them. I think that New Moon's cover with the flower stands for just that a flower. I think it symbolizes how people pick the petals off and say "He loves me, He loves me not." Which basically reflects upon the books contense and the struggle for bella to beleive that Edward really does love her even after being told by Edward that he doesn't love her. I would be so awesome if you could somehow e-mail me or write back to this website so that I could find out if that's what the covers really do symbolize. It's been racking my brain since I first laid eyes on them. and I could hopefully pick your brain for other stuff too! I guess that you can call me a regular Bella myself always wanting to ask questions but never really getting the chance to. Thank You so much for just being Stephenie Meyer!

Bella is a normal girl,with a super hot vampire boyfrined named Edward. New Moon is the sequel to the New York Times best selling book Twilight. I n New Moon Edward and his family through a suprise party for Bella. When Bella gets a paper cut (while she is in a room with six vampires) every thing turns up side down and insideout! A tragic heart break for Bella leads to anger and depresion. So she starts hanging out with an old friend Jacob Black. When Bella is with Jacob she tries wildstunts. One day she realizes that she can hear Edward's voice when ever she risksher life. When Alice missees somthing in her visons she attonaticly tells Edward. With the grief news Edward has to make an extremly tuff decision. Now Bella has to save Edwards life. The story ends with a wild cliffhanger. Bella has to now decide- BEST FRIEND and death or BOYFRIEND and death. Don't worry though, the sequel Eclips comes out late August.

This was the sequel to Twilight. Bella and Edward are happily in love until one day Edward just breaks up with her and moves away with his family, the Cullens. This leaves Bella alone, confused and depressed. Bella then tries to rebel leading to Edward and the other Cullens believing she was dead. Alice comes back to Forks only to discover Bella alive and well, but Edward does not know this. Edward then tries to endanger himself leaving Bella the only one who can save him.

I found this book just as amazing as Twilight. It was one of the very few books that brought me to tears. This book is a must read if you enjoy a good adventure and action book with a twist of romance.
