In Patrice Kindl's "Owl in Love" a fourteen year old girl named Owl who at night turns into an owl. She is in love with her science teacher Mr. Lindstrom and hangs out in the tree next to his house when she spots a boy near the home. She find out more about the boy in an attempt to save her 'mate' as she ends up finding a better one.
Very relatable with the school girl crush theme but nice spin with the wereowl level. Very funny.
