Kate is a liar.
For one, she's running for Quahog Princess when she can't even stand quahogs.
And she's cheating on her 'perfect' boyfriend.
The biggest one of all? She refuses to reveal the truth about what really happened the day that someone spray painted "TOMMY SULLIVAN IS A FREAK" on the wall of her junior high.
However, despite all these lies, Katie's life is going fine...that is until Tommy Sullivan himself comes back to town.
His arrival is a catalyst.
Tommy manages to decipher all of Katie's secrets. And Katie knows that all he wants is his revenge.
Too bad all she wants to do is kiss him.
Meg Cabot crates another decent read in this book, however Katie's antics fall a bit flat and could have been more interesting.
Pick it up if you have nothing else more pressing to read.
