This book is about a nineteen-year-old, Jack Dwyer, whose best friend died because of the creatures in the night....Prowlers. with his best friend's guidance and the help of the one person who doesnt think he's insane, Jack learns of the existance and ways of the Prowlers. Under the bold and ruthless leader Owen Tanzer, the Prowlers have united at last. They go from city to city hunting humans until they are close to being discovered and then they move on. Unlike werewolves, they arent humans which the moon turns into wolves...they are savage beasts slaughtering the humans. jack wants revenge for his friend and himself, but that determination makes him a target-and his friends-for the prowlers to hunt.
