I was really looking forward to reading this and I'm grateful to have received a copy for review from the publisher.
I didn't have the chance to read the first book in this series but the author does a good job of catching the reader up to speed. This story is well written, the characters interesting and engaging but it just wasn't the book for me. I DO think that fans of the first book, Lightbringer, will thoroughly enjoy it!
